This is a story of colonial America. the world was different then. People in the old world lived under kings and emperors but in the new world a revolution was brewing. the colonists lived with the Indian nations and took on their ways, their self sufficiency and their independence. soon they grew to calling themselves "Americans." from oppression to conflict to freedom Michael fields was a part of the revolution. he fought in battles whose names are no longer remembered but that changed the course of human history.
